BA in Production Arts: Props, Painting and Set (Hons)
Royal Central School of Speech and Drama — London, England
About this program
The BA (Hons) Production Arts: Props, Painting and Set at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama is a three-year program equipping students with the technical, creative, and collaborative skills essential in production arts — including prop-making, scenic painting, and set construction — using both traditional craft methods and new technologies including sustainable materials. Note: The former BA (Hons) Prop Making had its final intake in September 2024 (graduating 2027); the new BA Production Arts: Props, Painting and Set replaces it. Students collaborate extensively with acting, design, stage management, and other production students on Central's substantial public production program, working on productions in Central's Embassy Theatre, Webber Douglas Studio, and new £16.7 million North Block. Industry placements are offered in Years 2 and 3. Central is a University of London institution. Applications via UCAS.
