About this program
Oberlin Conservatory's TIMARA program combines electronic music, computer music, and technology-integrated performance within a conservatory environment. Housed in seven electronic music studios, TIMARA draws on the experimental tradition of American computer and electronic music. Students work at the intersection of sound, technology, and other artistic disciplines, collaborating with instrumentalists, dancers, and visual artists. A celebrated example: Eli Stine '14 completed a Double Degree in TIMARA and computer science.
