About this program
ECU's School of Music is housed in the A.J. Fletcher Music Center and is accredited by both NASM and AMTA. The School serves approximately 200 undergraduate and 50 graduate students. Junior and senior recitals required for all BM Performance and Jazz Studies students. A.J. FLETCHER MUSIC CENTER FACILITIES: A.J. Fletcher Recital Hall (220–260 seats); two large rehearsal halls; five pipe organs; 50+ practice rooms; Music Library (~90,000 books, scores, periodicals, media — largest academic music library east of Raleigh); Center for Music Technology: Music MIDI Lab; Center for Composition with Electronic Media; KORG Learning Center.
