About this program
Shenandoah University's Shenandoah Conservatory is NASM-accredited and offers a comprehensive range of music programmes. Faculty include Metropolitan Opera singers, Grammy Award-winning conductors, and international competition winners across 100+ master artist-educators. The Conservatory produces more than 300 performances per year and provides access to more than 30 performing ensembles. The Conservatory's music degree options include: BM in Performance, BM in Music Education, BM in Music Therapy, BM in Composition, BM in Jazz Studies, BM in Musical Theatre Accompanying (one of the only undergraduate degrees of its kind nationally), BM in Music Production & Recording Technology, BM in Church Music, and BA in Music (a 3-year degree that can be expanded to 4 years with a double major in a non-conservatory discipline). Winchester's location in the Northern Shenandoah Valley places students within easy access to Washington D.C., Baltimore, and the broader Mid-Atlantic arts community.
