About this program
Shenandoah University's Shenandoah Conservatory Dance Division offers both a BFA in Dance (two tracks: Ballet and Contemporary/Modern) and a BA in Dance. The Dance Division produces three main stage concerts per year in the Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre (600-seat), engaging students in performance beginning in their freshman year. The BFA in Dance is designed for highly motivated, pre-professional dancers seeking careers as concert performers, choreographers, or dance educators. Daily ballet and modern dance technique courses have live accompaniment. Master classes and residencies with internationally acclaimed guest artists are scheduled throughout the year. The intimate conservatory approach and supportive community have produced alumni working with Diavolo: Architecture in Motion and other major companies.
