About this program
The BA in Theatre at FSU is a flexible liberal arts degree that allows students to explore all areas of theatre without the audition requirement of the BFA programs. 'The programme offers a balance of theatre core classes and electives, allowing students the freedom to design their own curriculum.' This degree is ideal for students with multiple interests or who wish to combine theatre with other disciplines. CURRICULUM: In a given semester, the School of Theatre offers classes in: performance; directing; design (scenery, lighting, costume, sound); technical theatre; theatre history and performance studies; dramaturgy; theatre management; playwriting; play analysis; stage makeup. LONDON THEATRE EXPERIENCE: Available to BA Theatre students as well. CAREER PATHS: Graduate school in theatre; theatre-related fields (arts administration, law, public relations, ministry); directing; design; theatre management.
