About this program
Dallas Baptist University's Department of Music offers the BM in Piano Performance as part of its NASM-accredited program in Dallas, Texas. The mission is to educate students to engage the global society through transformational musical performance, scholarship, and service as servant leaders. BM Piano Performance students must present a half-hour Junior Recital and a full-hour Senior Recital. Piano Performance majors must pass a division barrier examination at the conclusion of the sophomore year. Junior and Senior recital opportunities in piano. Ensembles include: University Concert Chorale, DBU Doxology, DBU Grand Chorus, Piano Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Music Theater Practicum, and Opera Theater. Liberty Singers, Patriot Chorus also available.
