About this program
NDSU also offers BA and BS options in Theatre Arts as general baccalaureate liberal-arts degrees with major emphasis in theatre. The BA requires foreign-language proficiency at the second-year level; the BS requires completion of a minor in an approved field (per NDSU university policy). The BA/BS provides a broader liberal-arts foundation than the BFA and does not require an audition for admission to the major.
