About this program
Indiana University Bloomington's BFA in Musical Theatre is 'limited to only 10 to 14 admissions a year, providing enormous individual attention throughout the student's career.' NAST accredited. CURRICULUM: Acting, singing, dancing; rich core of theatre and music classes; professional classes on 'careers in professional theatre'; master classes with visiting guest artists including NYC casting directors and agents. SPECIAL: IU Broadway Cabaret (touring ensemble); Premiere Musicals at IU (new musical workshops with NYC/LA professional creative teams); IU Summer Theatre; independent projects; student stage and film productions. NYC SENIOR SHOWCASE: Graduating seniors perform in New York — attended by invited theatre representatives, agents, and managers. This is a by-audition credit course. Acceptance into the BFA programme is contingent upon acceptance into Indiana University.
