About this program
Indiana University Bloomington's BA in Theatre and Drama is built on the belief that 'theatrical production and classroom study are of equal and complementary value.' No audition required. CURRICULUM: Acting, directing, dramatic literature, theatre history, playwriting, design, and theatre technology. MAINSTAGE: All IU students may audition for the main season (2 musicals + 6 plays per year). Auditions held at the start of each semester — check theatre.indiana.edu/on-stage/audition/ for current season audition details. IU SUMMER THEATRE: Paid positions for performers and technicians. Note: If not accepted to the BFA Musical Theatre programme, applicants are automatically considered for the BA in Theatre and Drama.
