About this program
Converse's BMA in Contemporary Music (Media Applications) combines musical composition and performance with the creative and technological demands of contemporary media production. Multidisciplinary core includes coursework in entrepreneurship, media applications, and internships. Creative Music Ensemble (MEN 115; 8 credits) is a central recurring course. Students demonstrate advanced compositional ability across multiple styles and mediums, knowledge of historical and promotional practices, and ability to work with performers toward productions of their compositions.
