About this program
Yale University's five-year simultaneous BA/MM degree program is open to undergraduate music and non-music majors at Yale College, as well as those pursuing a BS instead of a BA. The program allows exceptional students to structure their undergraduate programs to become eligible for a simultaneous master's degree in selected graduate programs at the Yale School of Music. The Yale School of Music is a tuition-free school — students in the BA/MM program incur no costs beyond those associated with Yale College during their undergraduate years, and in the fifth year students are responsible only for personal living expenses, travel, books, and instrument upkeep. Yale is the only Ivy League school with a dedicated School of Music.
