About this program
Wright State University's BFA in Acting prepares students for careers across all facets of the performing arts—from stage to television to film. The program offers comprehensive training through acting classes, dance, private singing lessons, and specialized movement training including stage combat. Students are cast early and often in the department's award-winning plays and musicals, and have opportunities to perform in films produced by the university's motion pictures program. Graduates work professionally at regional theatres, on Broadway and off-Broadway, in television and film, and with national and international touring companies.
