Rollins College — Winter Park, FL
About this program
Rollins College is a private liberal arts college in Winter Park, Florida — just minutes from downtown Orlando — consistently ranked as the #1 or #2 Regional University in the South by U.S. News & World Report. The college enrolls approximately 2,500 undergraduates on a 70-acre lakefront campus bordering Lake Virginia. The Department of Theatre Arts and Dance at Rollins offers the BA in Theatre Arts and Dance, with the General concentration providing students the most flexibility to explore all areas of the curriculum. The department's venues include the Annie Russell Theatre — Florida's oldest continuously operating theatre, listed on the National Register of Historic Places — and the Tiedtke Theatre and Dance Center, a brand-new state-of-the-art facility opened in 2024 with a black box theatre and dedicated dance infrastructure. The General concentration does not require an audition for admission. Rollins operates on a semester system with an 11:1 student-faculty ratio.
