BA in Theatre Arts and Dance — Dramaturgy
Rollins College — Winter Park, FL
About this program
Rollins College is a private liberal arts college in Winter Park, Florida — just minutes from downtown Orlando — consistently ranked as the #1 or #2 Regional University in the South by U.S. News & World Report. The college enrolls approximately 2,500 undergraduates on a 70-acre lakefront campus bordering Lake Virginia. The Department of Theatre Arts and Dance at Rollins offers the BA in Theatre Arts and Dance with a Dramaturgy concentration, a rare undergraduate offering focusing on research, history, criticism, and dramaturgical practice. The department's venues include the Annie Russell Theatre — Florida's oldest continuously operating theatre, on the National Register of Historic Places — and the Tiedtke Theatre and Dance Center, a state-of-the-art facility opened in 2024. A faculty interview is part of the February incoming-student process for Dramaturgy students. Rollins operates on a semester system with an 11:1 student-faculty ratio.
