About this program
Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon sits in the mid-Willamette Valley between the Cascade mountain range and the Pacific Northwest coastline. The Theatre Arts program is housed in the School of Visual, Performing and Design Arts (SVPDA) and now benefits from the recently opened Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts (PRAx), a world-class performance and creative space on campus. The BA in Theatre Arts offers a flexible curriculum designed in partnership with each student and their faculty adviser. Students customize their program to fit their specific needs and career objectives. All Theatre Arts students must serve on at least one running crew for a mainstage production, hold a position of high responsibility on a faculty-supervised production, and perform in at least one mainstage or lab theatre production.
