About this program

NCCU's Bachelor of Music — Jazz concentration provides academic, applied instrumental, and ensemble study in jazz. NCCU Jazz Studies puts feel and groove before everything else and is supported by artists-in-residence Branford Marsalis and Joey Calderazzo. The NCCU Jazz Combo I has participated in the Monterey Jazz Festival's HBCU Combo Challenge. NCCU's Jazz Studies graduate program is NASM-accredited; undergraduate Jazz Studies is a degree concentration under the NCCU Bachelor of Music.
