About this program
NC A&T's BFA in Professional Theatre (Acting) is a pre-professional acting program in the Theatre Arts Program. The Theatre Arts Division traces its roots to the founding of the A&M Players by Susan B. Dudley. The program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST) and is one of the oldest accredited theatre programs among the nation's HBCUs. The program's vision is to create theatre that reflects the human experience from, though not limited to, an African American perspective and to be a premier training program in acting and theatre technology.
