About this program
NJCU's Bachelor of Music in Performance—Classical Instrumental prepares students for work as a solo or ensemble performer, private teacher, or conductor. The degree offers concentrations in Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion, Piano, and Guitar. Students perform in the NJCU Orchestra (established by Dr. Edward Raditz), large ensembles, chamber music, Opera Workshop, and specialty groups including the Trombone Choir coordinated by Gilles Bernard.
