About this program
42-credit BA in Music at Loyola University Chicago's Department of Fine and Performing Arts (DFPA), set in one of the world's most vibrant musical centers. Concentrations available in Vocal Performance, Jazz Studies, and Liturgical Music. Coursework spans music theory, music history, ensemble performance, and applied lessons. Active community of performers with regular solo recitals, studio recitals, and ensemble concerts throughout the year. Annual Concerto/Aria Competition winner performs with the LUC Symphony Orchestra. All-Male Choir, Chamber Choir, University Chorus, LUC Symphony Orchestra, and Jazz Ensemble available to students.
