About this program
Indiana University South Bend's BFA in Theatre — Musical Theatre Performance Concentration is 'an in-depth degree track in all things musical theatre performance, with multiple levels of dance, private voice, acting and specialized musical theatre performance classes.' Undergraduate only. CONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE: BFA students accepted based on audition are 'conditionally accepted' — you have been accepted into the BFA degree track but must also apply and be accepted at the IU South Bend university level before attending. ONGOING REVIEW: BFA students are reviewed annually for satisfactory progress. One bonus entrance audition attempt is included in the first semester of matriculation. Students may audition for an academic programme up to two times throughout their course of study. CAPSTONE: Musical Theatre Recital based on final semester of Applied Voice. WORK EARLY: Students can work onstage or backstage from their very first semester.
