About this program
Immaculata University's BM in Music Therapy prepares students for professional music therapy practice. All music therapy programmes are approved by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA). Graduates are eligible to take the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT) exam to become board-certified music therapists (MT-BC). MUSIC THERAPY CLINIC (2021): On-campus clinical training facility in the Faculty Center. ALL-STEINWAY SCHOOL: Access to Steinway concert grand pianos and practice pianos. Certificate in Music Performance: available to BM Music Therapy students. CURRICULUM: Musical foundations, clinical foundations, music therapy foundations and principles, culminating in professional practice internship. NASM accredited. AMTA approved.
