About this program
Howard University's BFA in Musical Theatre trains students in acting, dance, and musical performance within the context of the African-American cultural legacy. 'The audition process begins with a prescreen video submission.' MUSICAL THEATRE CONCENTRATIONS include professionally directed and produced musicals, contributing to the annual season and musical theatre showcases. HOWARD'S MISSION: Training professionals in Musical Theatre within the tradition of the African American Diaspora. The programme integrates with the acting, dance, and music strengths of the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts.
