About this program
Gustavus's Theatre Design & Technology major trains students in scenic design, costumes, lighting, and sound within a liberal arts context. No audition required for programme admission. DESIGN TRACK REQUIREMENT: Design and design-assisting positions require an application (in consultation with the area advisor) submitted the spring prior to the year the student wishes to design or assist. Candidates chosen based on application criteria. DESIGN STUDENTS: Must work behind the scenes in some capacity every semester while on campus (to persist in this track). THEATRE SCHOLARSHIP: Available by audition + interview.
