Karen Smith — Opera Workshop Director. Brad Fugate — Musical Director; works with Theatre Department on all musical productions. BM DEGREE OPTIONS: Music Performance — Instrumental, Vocal, or Keyboard concentration; intensive performance training; junior and senior recitals required. Music Education — Instrumental/General and Choral concentrations; Music Education Supplemental Application required; leads to Tennessee K-12 teaching certification. Jazz Studies — jazz performance and composition; jazz history and theory. BA in Music — flexible liberal arts music degree; for double majors, those interested in music history, theory, or music business without the full BM performance commitment. IMPORTANT: Students must have an ETSU E number before starting the music audition process. BRING YOUR OWN ACCOMPANIST: Students auditioning on winds, brass, or woodwinds must bring their own accompanist OR arrange for an accompanist through the School of Music office before the audition date.
