About this program
Dickinson College's Theatre and Dance Department offers a BA in Theatre Arts with pre-approved concentration clusters: acting/directing, dance, design/technology, and dramatic literature — or a self-designed cluster with faculty approval. Faculty have professional expertise and collaborate with students on their professional work. Two major theatre productions and two mainstage dance concerts annually. Annual musical theatre production in collaboration with Music Department (alternating years). Student organizations: Mermaid Players (theatre co-curricular) and Dance Theatre Group (dance co-curricular) — both open to all students. Lab shows, First Year Plays, Fresh Works (dance), and Salon (dance) provide additional opportunities. Cubiculo studio theatre. International study opportunities. CPYB Ballet Certificate Program available for pre-professional ballet students.
