BA in Worship Arts
Bethel University — Mishawaka, IN
About this program
The Bachelor of Arts in Worship Arts at Bethel University Indiana prepares students for ministry leadership in worship music, integrating biblical, theological, and pastoral training with performance, songwriting, and worship leadership skills. Students integrate faith into coursework and develop the musical, technical, and pastoral skills needed for vocational worship ministry in churches, parachurch organizations, and music ministry contexts. The Worship Arts major is offered through the Music & Theatre Department and shares core music coursework (theory, history, ear training, applied lessons, ensembles) with the BA Music and BMus Performance, complemented by worship-specific coursework in worship history, theology of worship, modern worship technology, and ministry leadership. Bethel is a private, Christian university (founded 1947) affiliated with the Missionary Church. Full-time students are required to attend the student-led chapel program three times weekly.
