The University of Windsor is a public university founded in 1963 in Windsor, Ontario — across the Detroit River from Detroit, Michigan. The School of Dramatic Art is internationally recognized; alumni include Amanda Tapping (Stargate SG-1), Antoni Cimolino (Artistic Director, Stratford Shakespeare Festival), and many Shaw Festival and Stratford Festival performers.
