About this program

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is the flagship public research university of Nebraska, founded in 1869 and located in Lincoln, Nebraska's capital city. About 24,000 undergraduates are enrolled. The Hixson-Lied College of Fine and Performing Arts houses the Glenn Korff School of Music (including the Dance Division), the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film, the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts, and several affiliated cultural institutions including the Lied Center for the Performing Arts, the Sheldon Museum of Art, and the Great Plains Art Museum. The Glenn Korff School of Music requires auditions for all music, music education, and dance majors/minors. The Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film requires auditions for the BFA Acting major and separate application/portfolio review for all other theatre and film programmes.
