The University of Kentucky is the flagship land-grant research university of Kentucky, located in Lexington — a city of 320,000 in the Bluegrass Region, known as the Horse Capital of the World and home to a vibrant arts community. UK enrolls approximately 22,000 undergraduates. The College of Fine Arts houses both the Department of Theatre and Dance and the School of Music.
