About this program

The University of Indianapolis is a private liberal arts university founded in 1902 and affiliated with the United Methodist Church, located on a residential campus on the south side of Indianapolis, Indiana's state capital and the 12th largest city in the United States. UIndy enrolls approximately 5,000 undergraduates. Performing arts at UIndy are distinguished by two outstanding assets: the Christel DeHaan Fine Arts Center, whose performance hall is an exquisite Viennese-style concert venue with a special acoustic design producing exceptional sound; and Indianapolis itself — one of the most culturally rich Midwestern cities, home to the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Indianapolis Ballet Theatre, Indianapolis Opera Company, Dance Kaleidoscope, the Indiana Repertory Theatre, the Civic Theatre, and the Fountain Square arts district, all within minutes of campus. Music Department faculty include members of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra. UIndy maintains permanent partnerships with the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra, the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra, and the American Pianists Association. Tuition: approximately $36,000/year (confirm at uindy.edu).
