Performing arts are based at the Creative Campus, Kingsway — an arts-focused campus a short distance from Chester city center, home to music, media, performance, art, and design courses in an intimate, collaborative environment. The Department of Music, Media and Performance delivers Acting, Professional Dance, Popular Music Performance, and Performing Arts at Kingsway, with extensive performance venues equipped with professional lighting, sound, projection, and recording facilities, plus close proximity to The Storyhouse (Chester's professional theatre, cinema, and library) which hosts Chester's growing live arts community. The BA (Hons) Musical Theatre Performance is delivered exclusively at The Hammond, a specialist musical theatre partner institution in Chester.
