About this program
The University of Central Missouri's Division of Theatre and Dance offers a BA in Theatre as part of a comprehensive performing arts program. UCM is one of only four universities in Missouri accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST) and one of just three in Missouri with a fully-accredited School of Visual and Performing Arts. The BA Theatre program provides students with rigorous academic training combined with extensive practical experience in a liberal arts context. Students can audition for mainstage and student-led productions as early as their first semester, gaining real-world experience in acting, design, and technical theatre.
