Union University is a private Southern Baptist Christian liberal arts university in Jackson, Tennessee, founded in 1823 — the oldest institution affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The university enrolls approximately 1,891 undergraduates on its 290-acre main campus (with extension campuses in Germantown and Hendersonville, Tennessee).
