About this program
Celebrating 40 years of excellence, Catholic University's B.F.A. in Musical Theatre program is the largest departmental program, with approximately 80 undergraduates. The program focuses on developing complete performers skilled in singing, acting, and dancing within a conservatory atmosphere. Students benefit from a comprehensive, conservatory-style environment accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music that fosters creative excellence. Graduates go on to perform in regional theatres, on and off Broadway, and with regional and national touring companies, launching successful performing careers in the professional theatre world.
