Saint Norbert College is a private Catholic liberal arts college in De Pere, Wisconsin — a suburb of Green Bay — founded in 1898 by the Norbertine order. The college enrols approximately 1,900 students and has been ranked consistently among the top five comprehensive undergraduate colleges in the Midwest by U.S. News & World Report. SNC maintains a 14:1 student-faculty ratio. The Department of Music (part of the Visual and Performing Arts Division) offers three bachelor's degree pathways: Music Education (K-12 certification), Music Performance, and a Liberal Arts emphasis in Music. SNC is distinctive in that no audition is required to declare the Music major — all incoming first-year students are welcome to audition for music ensemble scholarships regardless of major. The programme features more than a dozen auditioned and non-auditioned ensembles including the Knights on Broadway vocal ensemble. SNC is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).
