About this program
Roger Williams University (RWU) is a private comprehensive university in Bristol, Rhode Island — a coastal New England college town approximately 20 miles from Providence and 45 miles from Boston — with enrollment of approximately 4,000 undergraduates. Founded in 1956 and named for the colonial theologian and Rhode Island cofounder Roger Williams, RWU is consistently ranked in the top 50 national universities by the Wall Street Journal. The Department of Performing Arts and Creative Writing offers four bachelor's degrees relevant to PerformrGO: BA in Performing Arts (interdisciplinary), BA in Dance/Performance, BA in Music, and BA in Theatre.
