About this program
Pepperdine University's Seaver College is a private Christian liberal arts university located on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California. The Fine Arts Division offers programs in Theatre, Music, and Visual Art to approximately 300 students, taught by practicing scholars, artists, and teachers. All Theatre and Music applicants must complete a supplemental Fine Arts application through the Pepperdine Application Portal in addition to applying through the Common App. The Fine Arts application requires uploaded recorded audition materials for most programs. Live auditions are offered in-person or on Zoom. Theatre applicants are automatically considered for Fine Arts scholarships through the audition process — no separate scholarship application is required. The division presents five major productions annually and maintains an active schedule of ensemble performances and events throughout the year.
