Pace University's Sands College of Performing Arts is located in Lower Manhattan at 140 William Street, placing students in the center of one of the world's most active professional performing arts industries. The college offers BA and BFA programs across acting, directing, dance, musical theater, production design, and stage management, all taught by working industry professionals. Sands College is consistently ranked among the top ten most represented colleges on Broadway, and every graduating class participates in individual industry showcases in New York City. Every program in the Sands College requires an audition or interview for admission. The two-step process begins with a prescreen submitted via Acceptd, followed by a live callback audition or interview on campus. A $90 non-refundable audition fee is collected at the time of the first Acceptd submission; a coupon code on Acceptd waives the fee for subsequent program submissions in the same cycle. Merit scholarships are awarded through the same holistic review process used for admission — artistic talent, academic achievement, and demonstrated financial need are all considered together.
