About this program
The Ohio State University School of Music is a NASM-accredited program serving approximately 375 undergraduate and 100 graduate students, with more than 70 faculty including nationally and internationally recognized performers, composers, scholars, and teachers. The new Timashev Family Music Building provides modern classroom, rehearsal, and performance space. The BM in Performance focuses on mastery of performance skills and is offered in three tracks: Instrumental, Keyboard, and Voice. Students benefit from the resources of a large research university — over 200 majors and minors to complement their music study and 1,400 student organizations — while receiving the close-knit experience of a focused music school community.
