About this program
Northwest's Bachelor of Arts in Music offers a comprehensive music major or emphases in Audio Production, Business, or Wellness. The comprehensive option provides a general approach with a solid understanding of music composition and theory, plus ensemble participation. The Audio Production emphasis centers on the digital framework for successful audio production. The Business emphasis is designed for students interested in combining business and music. While Northwest's music education program certifies students to teach music in a K-12 classroom, the BA in Music does NOT provide that certification; students interested in teaching music should choose the BME.
