About this program
The BA in Dance Choreography and Performance is one of three distinct BA tracks in LMU Dance's new curriculum, focused specifically on developing choreographers and performance artists. This track provides intensive training in concert dance, commercial dance, and original choreographic creation within the context of a Jesuit liberal arts education in Los Angeles. Students work with a distinguished faculty whose members have performed and choreographed for companies internationally, and learn to perform at intermediate-advanced levels in modern dance, ballet, jazz, and world dance — at least two of these at the intermediate-advanced level. Performances are staged in the 172-seat Strub Theatre.
