About this program
Lancaster Bible College's BM in Performance prepares students for careers as performers, studio teachers, or graduate study. Students begin performing in their first year, participate in weekly MWPA Forums, and perform in solo recitals in their junior and senior years. Large ensembles perform 'side by side' with local professionals, creating a unique apprenticeship experience. Vocal Performance prepares classical singers for opera, art song, studio teaching, and graduate school — with emphasis on multiple languages and broad classical literature. Instrumental Performance develops technical and artistic excellence in a Christ-centered context. AUDITION REQUIRED for all applied areas. Must be accepted to LBC first.
