About this program
Lake Forest College's BA in Theater develops scholars, artists, and audiences of the performing arts through integration of classroom study with production experience. Students concentrate in performance, design and technical production, playwriting, or theater history and literature — and often combine theater with other disciplines. 'Theater students have unparalleled access to world-class theater in the city of Chicago.' Courses include regular trips to Steppenwolf, the Goodman, and Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Faculty are practicing theater artists and scholars. NO AUDITION required for program admission.
