About this program
Kansas State University's Theatre program is the only NAST-accredited theatre program in Kansas. Students choose between BA (foreign language courses required) or BS (additional math and science courses required). NO AUDITION required to become a Theatre major — 'there is no audition requirement to become a Theatre major. You simply declare Theatre as a BA or BS.' AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION available. Students encouraged to take active roles in productions beginning freshman year. Visiting professionals and alumni enhance training. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Third- and fourth-year theatre majors may apply annually for professional development funds to travel with faculty to NYC, Chicago, and LA. SCHOLARSHIPS available; reserved for Theatre majors; application requires a Statement of Interest.
