About this program
Indiana University of Pennsylvania's BA in Theatre offers flexible concentrations in Performance, Design/Tech Management, Theory-Criticism, or a custom concentration designed with your faculty advisor. STRUCTURE: Years 1-2: Foundation in historic/analytic knowledge and core skills in performance, production, and ensemble. Years 3-4: Concentration electives; Senior Thesis (conceived in Junior Theatre Seminar; capstone marking degree completion). PROFESSIONAL ENSEMBLES: Theater-by-the-Grove (4 productions/year; open to all IUP students). SPATE (theatre for social change). Acorn Project (student-produced theatre).
