About this program
Hofstra's BS in Dance Education 'is designed to prepare prospective dance teachers to be highly skilled and creative dancers and choreographers.' Students work with children at Hofstra's Diane Lindner-Goldberg Child Care Institute and lead creative dance workshops at AHRC of Long Island (supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities). Modern/contemporary focus with strong ballet component.
