Guildhall's BA Acting is one of the most competitive programmes in the world — approximately 1% acceptance rate. In 2018-19: 2,610 applications; approximately 26 places offered. THREE-STAGE AUDITION PROCESS: Stage 1: Self-recorded video audition (submitted after application). Stage 2: In-person second-round audition (UK cities or New York). Stage 3: Final recall audition (in person at Guildhall; fixed dates; cannot be changed). NOTE ON MONOLOGUES: 'The above video mentions preparing three monologues. Applicants should prepare TWO monologues.' (Three were previously required; now two required.) DIRECT APPLICATION: gsmd.ac.uk (NOT via UCAS). Application fee £37 (non-refundable; one-off — no additional fees at later stages). No limit on number of previous applications. Deadline: January 14 at 4:30 PM UK (APPLY EARLY — this deadline is absolute).
