About this program
Gettysburg College's Sunderman Conservatory offers the Bachelor of Music Education within a highly selective liberal arts environment (48% acceptance rate). TWO-STEP ADMISSION: (1) Apply to Gettysburg via Common App at gettysburg.edu. (2) Complete Music Profile Form; complete online theory assessment; complete in-person or video audition; faculty interview. ED candidates MUST audition before December 1. All Sunderman students: weekly 1-hour private lessons; daily minimum 2-hour practice expectation; required major ensemble participation (by audition — Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, or College Choir); chamber ensemble participation.
