NOTE: This is a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies (BIS) — NOT a BFA. The BIS format gives students flexibility to combine theatre training with an Allied Field concentration. 'Readies students for a career in the entertainment industry with a focus on all aspects of theatre and film performance.' Training in acting, film, TV, commercial work, new media, and video game performance. ATLANTA CITY THEATRE (ACT): FMT's resident theatre company. Open to ALL GSU students regardless of major. Provides links to professional Atlanta theatre. GEORGIA FILM ACADEMY: GSU is a core partner; training at Trilith (formerly Pinewood Atlanta Studios). Average industry salary: $84,000/year.
